Fund title: Downing Four VCT

Overview

The Downing FOUR Generalist Share Class is seeking to provide attractive returns to investors by investing in a portfolio of growth companies, at different stages in the business life cycle.

The Generalist Share pool will invest in companies that are likely to be generating revenues but many may still be pre-profit, with our funding expected to push them closer to break-even and profitability. Some companies may already be profitable but with cashflows that may not be enough to fuel their growth potential.

*Rebate - Total 2.75% - ie Initial commission rebate of 2%, plus up to max 1.25% (ie 0.25% X 5 years) trail commission which is dependent on the investment being kept for the full term. However, the initial WealthMe Arrangement Fee of 0.5% is paid by the product provider from your Initial commission or it can be paid by the investor separately.

Please note Eraly Bird offer - 1% reduction in initial fee for lump sum investments only. The early bird offer will reduce in tranches of 0.1% every week (e.g. 0.9% reduction in costs from 29 December 2018 to 4 January 2019) until 2 March 2019, after which the offer will end. If you’d like to see the full details of the offer, please refer to the first page of the prospectus.

If applicable we will ask the product provider to reinvest any initial or trail commission back into your plan. This will be either in the form of a reduction in their charges or an enhancement of additional shares. However if this cannot be facilitated, they will pay any initial or trail commission to WealthMe. We will then pay any surplus initial commission immediately back to the recipient. Any trail commission we receive will be paid to the recipient in January based on the amount received in the previous year (subject to a £10 administration fee). All initial and trail rebates will be paid net of basic rate tax and are to be treated as taxable income by the recipient as stipulated by HMRC.
