Why should you make a Will?

If you do not have a Will your estate may not go where you would want it to go in the event of your death. When a person dies without having a valid Will, he or she is said to have died “intestate”. In this situation, the law sets out the rules for managing your estate and assets and therefore members of your family may lose out.

It’s important to note that your estate does not necessarily pass to your spouse under these intestacy rules. The advantages of having a Will include allowing you to control the destination of your assets, appointing guardians for your children, avoiding disputes and saving potential Inheritance Tax and Nursing Home Fees.

Why should you use WealthMe?

  • Single Wills for just £175+VAT
  • Mirror Wills for just £225+VAT
  • No probate commission or obligation
  • Your Will is properly drawn up by a solicitor and normally completed after a single call back

Unlike many online Will services, we only charge an initial flat fee for making your Will. Many 'free' online Will services make their money by charging commission for the administration of the deceased person's estate (probate) without disclosing these charges. We would discuss any charges for probate with your family who would not be bound to use our services.

Drawing up a Will with WealthMe couldn’t be easier. You simply fill out a form to request a call back. A Will specialist will then call you back, talk you through the process and listen to your requirements. On average, this phone call will take no more than 20 minutes. The Will is then drawn up and sent to you for signing.
